DVD to Pinnacle to get to Avid Studio (Full Version)

Had another in my 'lost file department'. (a hard drive that would not start up)
I had a DVD I made some time ago, and just decided I would like to extend/expand it with a few more scenes.
Problem was all I could find of it was on the DVD disc, and Avid Studio will not import DVD from disc.
So I imported the DVD to Pinnacle 15, and then opened that file in Avid Studio.
Seems to have worked fine up till now.
Thought I would pass the idea along for your information and your comments.

Hugh, Avid will import video from DVD. [;)]

OK Greg you are correct.
I don't know what I was doing wrong but now I find that Avid Studio does import DVD from disc.
I thank you for prodding me and getting me to do it once again.
