Please accept my apologies.  I must have forgotten to lock the source Thread of you original post.

My fault entirely.  Please continue your discussion here.

Geoff

Original post content:

The tutorial for converting VOBs to MPGs has a link to a site for downloading Mplayer and shows which file should be downloaded.  But the web site has changed and I'm not able to match up the download file shown in the tutorial with a download file on the Mplayer web site.  Is there any chance the tutorial could be updated to show which file should be downloaded from the updated web site?

Thanks!

I have just checked the link and it worked fine.

Here is a temporary new link until Gordon is well again.

Try this link if you like, or if the old one still does not work.

Hi, Geoff!

I need to clarify the problem.  When I said "the web site has changed and I'm not able to match up the download file shown in the tutorial with a download file on the Mplayer web site", I didn't mean the web site was no longer there or that the link didn't work--I just meant the MPlayer page no longer looks like the page shown in the tutorial (i.e. it's changed  ), so I couldn't tell from the tutorial which was the correct file to download from the MPlayer page that now comes up when clicking on the link.

My bad!  Sorry for the confusion.

PS:  I didn't realize Gordon wasn't well--I'm sorry to hear that.  I hope it's not serious--I guess I'll have to check the boards.

Unfortunately I know nothing at all about MPlayer.

Maybe you could post a picture of the page that has changed?
Someone here will recognise the problem, I am sure.

Best of luck.

Geoff
