ICLONE 2.5 TUTORIAL (For Iain) SETUP TIME BASIS (To give you more time to play with, in each Clip) Click on Clock (Project Time relates to..) / Time Setting Pop-Up / Animation Length /  Total Of / Increase number of Frames to maximum. Select Time Unit / Time. IMPORT 2D BACKGROUND IMAGE Click Scene Icon / Modify / Import Image  IMPORT PINHEAD Click Avatar Icon / Modify / Scroll-Down to Import Character / Pinhead replaces the Default Character. POSTIONING PINHEAD Click Zoom Icon / Drag PH Up & Down, to resize.Click Pan Icon / Drag PH, to positionClick Rotate Icon / Drag PH, to RotateClick Roll Icon / Drag PH, to RollClick Camera Icon Drop-Down / choose selections / Repeat previous steps if required. CHANGE PINHEAD'S CLOTHES Click Upper Body Tab / Template / Select / ApplyClick Lower Body Tab / Select / Apply Click Shoes Tab / Select / Apply ATTACHING AN ACCESSORY TO PH Click  Accessories Tab / Select / Apply  ANIMATING PH Click Animation Icon / (You aren't using the Timeline, so don't use a walking animation) /  Select eg: Dance / Hip Hop 7 / Apply GETTING PH TO DANCE IN TIME TO THE BEAT OF  IMPORTED BACKGROUND MUSIC Click Music Tab / Click Sync / Import Music  GETTING PH TO LIPSYNC A VOICE FILE (Alley will do you some for PH, if you send her PH's lines). Or you casn Record your own / Select Record (You've already done that before, using CrazyTalk) Click Facial Animation / Import Wave / Select an Emotive / Apply EXPORTING YOUR SCENE TO UNCOMPRESSED AVI (Better quality to begin with), before Rendering to AVI-2, In Studio.& Re-Rendering to WMV Best Quality, for Uploading to Brian. Move Rigt-Hand Caliper under Preview Scrubber, to the end of the part of your Scene you want to Render. Click Tools Tab Drop-Down / Export / Video (I think, 'cos I can't see it all here - Screen Resolution 800 x 600) / Format / Choose AVI, in Drop-Down / Select Custom Size / Select  DVD PAL or DVD NSTC, in Standardv Size Drop-Down / Render Quality / Best Render  / Anti Aliased / Export Save As / Full Frames (Uncompressed), in following Pop-Up / OK. Clip will Render & then immediately play in WMP.  Repeat All of the above for further Scenes. Import all of your Saved AVIs into Studio, for adding Title, Credits Transitions etc. Hopefully you've completed your 1st iC2.5 Animated PH Clip Suggestion: Write your Storyline to fit what you can do in iClone. Good luck Any questions - Post in this Thread & Alley will answer them.
ADDED - Don't use 3D Background. 'Cos if you do, the above Tutorial for positioning PH won't apply. Ie: The Tutorial would apply to positioning the Background & not PH & you would have to use the XYetc Axis arrows (more difficult).
Tutorial is for Single Character only. Multiple Characters are more difficult to do.

Well I am saying THANKS too, Peter.

I have a feeling that I will be using this quite extensively when I finally get my Iclone open again.

I am sure this will come in very handy and I really appreciate your taking the time to put this together for us Iclone newbies.
