This guy says that he can do it.

You can watch it and judge for yourself.

The only problem is a standard DVD only has enough space for about 20 min of High Def.

Not worth talkin' about around here.

Errr . . . . Studio 12 (and 14) have this capability, and can create about 30 mins. of high def. video on a standard DVD.

I do not even have a blue-ray player so I have never tried it.

I tried it and could not get it to work.
I recorded 4 min of HDV and imported it.
in edit just dropped the 4 min onto the time line.
Did a create disk to Blue-Ray and it cut to a DVD-r without error.
Place it in a Blue-Ray player and it did not see the video.
Do you know what I did wrong?
