We're happy to announce that we now have a monthly newsletter.  You can find it at http://www.videofriendsforum.com

It is hoped that you will find it interesting and informative, and that you might wish to be a contributer.  Have a look and share your thoughts here.

Thank You

I am not sure a Monthly Newsletter is necessary, as anything that would appear in the Newsletter, will have, or should also be, posted in the Forum.  Those reading the Newsletter, will also be interested enough to be reading the forum.  Or should be.
New Members?  As far as I can see, New Members receive a most Warming Welcome in the forum.
Just my thoughts.  Forgive me.

Dell XPS400 Windows XP Home Pentium D 2.8 ghz 3GB RAM, Radeon X600 256mb, 160GB, 200GB HDs, Studio 9Plus (9.3.5) Avid Liquid 7.20 (Build 4296) . Camcorders: Canon Vixia HFM300, Canon Sureshot S1 IS, highspeed cable internet
When I log on I am usually looking for specific subjects and don't pay much attention to anything that doesn't sound like the things that interest me.  I could be missing something.

I will read the newsletter.  I might learn something.

Well, I don't consider myself to be either a Photographer or Videographer. However I have been known to take the odd Photo & Record the odd Video. But I do Produce a fairly large number of Videos.

I enjoy viewing all of the Photo related Threads & some of the Technical info sticks. Likewise general Video Editing Threads which, although they may not apply to me at the time, the info sticks. So it 's nice to have a Monthly Newsletter, reminding me to have a look at the above Threads.

1st one - Very nicely presented. It has a Kayla? look about it.

The Link to Butch's PayPal A/C is an excellent idea.

ADDED - I've just made a Donation via the Link. However in the Past I've Donated GB £s, converted to US $s. So I've known how much I've donated. However, Link only has option of Donating in US $s. So I don't know how much I've Donated in GB £s & PayPal's currency conversion & Administration Fee, until I receive PayPal confirmation e-mail. I guess that would apply to anyone Donating from outside of the US. Can the Form be amended to give options for Donor's Currency?

ADDED - I've received PayPal e-mail & won't know until I receive my Credit Card Statement.

Each time I've completed a PayPal Form, the layout & information has been different.

Google Currency Exchange and there are a number of sites that will convert for you.  At least they will tell you how much it is going to cost.

I think it is a neat idea. Is there  enough going on around here to fill a monthly newsletter? Maybe not, but I do applaud the effort. It could certainly be fun, and a good way to catch up, as I often get busy.
